Agreements. Any document or communication that defines the initial intentions of a project. This can take the form of a contract, memorandum of understanding (MOU), letters of agreement, verbal agreements, email, etc.
Control. Comparing actual performance with planned performance, analyzing variances, assessing trends to effect process improvements, evaluating possible alternatives, and recommending appropriate corrective action as needed.

Explanation : The first thing to do is to evaluate the real causes (and not the effects) of the problem. One of them could be the language and asking the expert about her language knowledge might be a good starting point to identify the real problem. There are many challenges to effectively communicate in multinational project team. For one team member to successfully communicate a technical concept to another team member in a different country can involve encoding the message in the appropriate language, sending the message using a variety of technologies, and having the receiver decode the message and replay or provide feedback.
